I just got back from watching Margot & the Nuclear So and So’s perform tonight at the Crocodile in Seattle. It was my first time seeing a band perform live, and as soon as they played “Broadripple Is Burning” I just got so into it. I danced a bit, even started singing along with them. My feet hurt and I think my hearing’s gone out, but I don’t care. It was amazing.
The past week has been really, really shitty. I’ve been finding myself breaking down a lot. To just go out, listen to some music, enjoy myself and forget all of my problems for a bit—I really needed something like this.
Dinosaur Feathers (one of their opening acts) was pretty good too, I need to remember to check out more of their stuff. Okay it’s almost 2:30 off to bed with me oops
